As we enter the New Year, we find ourselves reflecting on 2024, a year marked by fast-paced change, exciting achievements, and a renewed sense of purpose at Ping Proxies.
We’ve doubled down on our mission to provide the best-performing ethical proxies on the market all while maintaining affordable prices. With that goal in mind, we’ve worked hard to bring our customers a suite of new improvements over the last 12 months including a reengineered dashboard, new payment options, more residential carriers and hundreds of big and small feature updates - enabled by the release of our proprietary Rust-based Squid Proxy alternative, Ancelotti (Yes, we do name all our projects on Italian football icons…).
We’ve had a wave of positive feedback from customers, but one of the clearest indicators of our progress is the fact we have finally broken the magical $1M ARR milestone with our Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) skyrocketing by 180%+ over the course of the year. These numbers mean a lot to us because they represent the trust our clients place in our proxy services. We view this growth as a partnership; every new user, every upgrade, and every piece of feedback drives us to further refine our offerings.
A Fresh New Look
The largest milestone in 2024 came in October when we unveiled our rebrand. We wanted a fresh new look to accompany our new website, dashboard and feature releases to signify this next step in our journey.
Months of planning, design iterations, and user feedback led us to a cleaner, more modern visual identity that still feels true to our roots. We are proud of the end result and appreciate the kind words we have received from clients.

Upgraded Website and Dashboard
Following the rebrand, we undertook a thorough overhaul of our website and dashboard. Our aim was not only to make them as intuitive and user-friendly as possible, but to also add a suite of new features so that customers can better manage their proxy services, team and billing.
We also tightened up our security measures to ensure that every interaction with our site is protected. This update was shaped heavily by the direct feedback we received from our users, who told us what they liked, what they did not, and what they wished to see in the future.

Key Features
The updated dashboard is packed with new features, many of which were enabled by our new API first approach and backend system overhaul. We designed each enhancement to give our clients more control, greater visibility, and increased flexibility in how they use our proxy services.
- Detailed Analytics: We introduced comprehensive traffic analytics, broken down by Proxy User. Thanks to our partnership with Scaleway, which allowed us to deploy a new high-performance Kafka cluster, you will now see your usage sync in real-time to the dashboard with our log ingestion time being reduced to an average of 2.3 seconds across our ISP and Residential networks even while processing billions of requests a month.
- Proxy User System: For teams managing proxies together, or resellers wanting to manage their customers, our new Proxy User management system makes life so much easier by offering easy password updates, analytics, IP authentication lists and access management on a sub-user basis.
- Expanded Payment Features & Credit System: Recognizing that each business has unique budget cycles and payment preferences, we introduced our new credit system alongside additional payment processors. Instead of adhering to a single billing model, users can now purchase credits with every major cryptocurrency or credit card and apply them as needed, offering greater scalability and financial flexibility.
Expanding Our Static Residential ISP Carriers
A high priority for us has always been broadening our global coverage while maintaining the reliability and ethics that define us. This year, we expanded to a new Paris location and partnered with additional Static Residential ISP carriers and now offer access to networks including AT&T, Comcast, RCN, Windstream, Deutsche Telekom, and others.
These new carriers ensure stronger and more stable IP addresses—particularly critical for large-scale operations like data gathering, market research, and e-commerce analytics. We believe this expanded coverage empowers our clients to break into markets and niches that were previously out of reach.
Ancelotti Proxy System
All of these developments rest on the shoulders of Ancelotti, our in-house proxying system.
For us, Ancelotti provides flexibility, security and reliability, allowing us to tightly integrate business logic with every single request.
For our customers, this means faster routing, reduced bandwidth consumption and lower latency. We’re sure the peace of mind that comes from using the most reliable and secure proxy software around goes a long way too.
One example of Ancelotti’s benefits is our release of SOCKS5 & HTTP protocols on the same port and our upcoming UDP proxying feature. We hope that our continued development assures customers that when they’re with us, they have access to the latest features in the ever changing proxy landscape.
IWF Membership and Made in Britain
In our commitment to transparency and ethical operations, we’ve also taken a more active approach to industry cooperation and engagement.
- Membership with the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF): By joining this organization, we are taking a stand for a safer internet and underlining our commitment to ethical operations. The partnership allows us to leverage IWF resources to improve and expand our automated monitoring and proactive abuse prevention systems, significantly expanding these capabilities. It also provides access to constantly updated databases of harmful content that we can automatically block.
- Made in Britain Certification: As a UK-based start-up, we are pleased to display this certification, which validates the local roots of our company and our dedication to operating in a highly regulated environment.
New Team Members & Office
To better support our growing customer base and expanding range of services, we relocated to a larger office space in Manchester earlier this year. This move brought our team closer together, literally and figuratively. With more room to collaborate, we were able to expand our engineering team which will allow us to continue to offer customers with service improvements at a high cadence. We’ve also onboarded new remote team members in other areas such as content production to ensure we’re publishing high quality educational blogs and documentation for our users.
Looking Ahead
As we move into 2025, we remain focused on refining our proxy offerings, forming strategic partnerships, and investing in our team. Our priority is to ensure that your proxy experience continues to be fast, reliable, and ethically sound.
We appreciate the clients, partners, and supporters who made 2024 such a successful year for Ping Proxies. Your feedback has helped us improve, and we look forward to achieving more together. If you have any ideas or questions, please reach out—we are always ready to learn how we can better serve you.
