The IP address of the proxy refers to the original IP that was used to access the proxy server. This is the source address that connects to the proxy and represents where the request originates before it is forward through a backconnect.
The Exit IP address, on the other hand, is the final IP address that is used when the request leaves the proxy and is sent to the target destination. This is the IP address that websites and online services will see when you access them using the proxy. In some cases, the exit IP may be different from the proxy IP, especially if the proxy is part of a multi-hop or rotating proxy system.
Backconnect proxies dynamically assign different exit IPs to outgoing connections. When a client connects to a backconnect proxy, it receives a proxy endpoint that automatically routes traffic through a pool of residential, datacenter, or mobile proxies. Each request may exit through a different IP, which can change periodically based on predefined rules.
For example, a user might connect to a backconnect proxy with an IP in the United States, but their requests could be routed through various exit IPs in different locations.
